Although my best friend did not very agree with me going to my boyfriend’s hometown when I told her about it, she still promised me to keep the secret for me and I decided to go with him, because it did not necessarily mean that I would get married with him if I went to his hometown with him. I asked him riding the electric tricycle and went to the supermarket to go shopping. I remembered my friend’s warn before I went to the supermarket, but I had forgotten it completely when I was in it. I bought several thermal underwear and many boxes of candies. One of my classmates riding an electric bicycle got a shock when he saw I carried so many bags at the gate of the supermarket with my boyfriend. He pulled me aside and asked me what the matter was. I told him the fact. He said that I had gone crazy and went on his homemade brushless motor electric car angrily. Why there was nobody who could understand me. I only loved him and wanted to show my filial piety for him.

After several months’ going and eating in the canteen with him and then going to the river bank and the library, I fell in love with him unconsciously. I wanted to invite him to go to the cinema one day and told him that I would wait for him at six P.M. at the gate of the school with my best electric bicycle. There was no class that afternoon, so I began to make up myself at three P.M, because I wanted to let him to look at my beautiful side. When I finished making up, it was just half past four. Times went so slowly before I meet him. I attempted to pass the time by reading newspapers and magazines, but I found that I could not settle down myself. I rode my motorized bicycle and went to the gate to wait for him at half past five P.M. I was very excited before he came and imagined the happiness of staying with him in the cinema. Two hours later, he rode his micro brushless motor electric car with several other students. He was late and I got angry, saying that he was not trustworthy and then went to my dorm.

He should have had gotten up at three A.M every morning and went to the vegetables market to make money. I had never expected he should have had suffered so much hardship and it was the first time that I had seen that kind of thrifty student, no wonder he refused me and said he had no time every time I invited to play with me. He took me to the boulevard again on his micro brushless motor electric car one day afternoon when both of us had no class. I told him directly that I loved him. As a matter of fact, he may also felt that I had fallen love with him; otherwise, I would neither get angry with him nor track him some time ago. He stood beside his electric bicycle and told me that he did not perfectly match me and that we were not suitable to live with each other. It was not surprise when I heard his words. I went towards the motorized bicycle and told him that it did not matter if he felt I was rich and he was poor, because he was so outstanding and would be also rich in the future, as long ad he believed in himself.

Basically, electric bikes are bicycles powered by batteries. The batteries are generally used to provide a constant supply of power to pedals that makes riding the bike nearly without efforts. One of the most important components of an electric bike is the push through motor powered pedals. So pedals are really helpful when we are using e bikes. We even cannot imagine if we do not have pedals when our e bikes do not have power. What are we going to do? Pulling the e bikes? What a pity it is!

An electric bike is ‘cheating' and ‘does all the work', this is a wrong conception held by many people. Electric bikes have great value in getting people back into cycling after an illness or letting people into cycling that has never ridden before. Electric bicycles or battery bikes generally are designed to be ridden in pedal assist mode. This means that the rider is putting in effort and the motor is assisting. Some electric bikes have a feature that whereby the rider can vary the amount of assistance given by the bike, while the others have the ability to be ridden without pedaling at all. The ability to go completely under power may be useful if a rider can only put in effort for a short time and then need a ‘breather'. This allows them to either continue their journey, or when out riding with other companions, to keep up and not delay the ride.

On April 15 at China's Canton Fair in Guanzhou, Daymak Inc proudly introduced what they've dubbed "the world's first wireless electric power bike" - the Shadow. "We are very excited to attend the 109th Canton Fair and showcase our very own Shadow Ebike," said Daymak President and CEO Yeg Baiocchi. "We are thrilled to have our small Canadian firm be along the big players in the Canton Fair in China. We have had interest from almost every country in the world, so it only makes sense to be at the Canton Fair where everyone will be able to see and touch the Shadow Ebike." Canton Fair is China's largest import and export fair. With more than 200 dealer enquiries about the Shadow electric bikes already.

E-bikes have boomed in popularity over the past few years. However, as for any product that achieves such overnight popularity, regulations will take some time to catch up. Unfortunately, in the case of electric bicycles, clashes between e-cyclists and law enforcement officials have become common place due to the fact that China’s e-bike law currently involves more gray area than black and white. Nevertheless, it is not uncommon for electric bicycle owners to deal with tickets issued by unconvinced law enforcement officials due to a lack of clarity on electric bicycle law. The lack of consensus among law enforcement officials on electric bicycles is reinforced by the plethora of more scooter than bicycle-like e-bikes that take advantage of hazy legislation by slapping on nearly useless pedals. The fact that electric bikes have qualified as zero emissions vehicles in some communities adds to the contradiction.

On the afternoon of October 7, 2010, the last day of the National Day golden week holiday, my dad, my mum and I taxied to the downtown street where dozens of electric bikes stores came together to do business. But it turned out to be an e-bike, I was still very happy.

When I got to know that I had been down with an incurable disease, I was sad to death. My wife died when our second daughter was only several months in an accident. I thought God was too cruel to me. The thing that I could bear the most was that I was going to separate from my daughters, who were so sensible and so cute. I was an ordinary worker in a brushless electric motors factory and cooked for them after work every day. My happiest time was eating and talking with them. I did not want to leave them, because living with them was so joyful and so happy. In order to let my girlfriend’s mother to stay longer in the villa, my chairman did not allow me to apologize to my girlfriend, because if I apologized to her, she would reconcile with me; if she reconciled with me, her mother would leave the villa; if her mother leave the villa, my chairman would have no chance to ran after her. I pretended not to see my girlfriend when I was riding my e electric bike on the way to my house after work and did not answer her no matter how she shouted behind me. To be frank, I was afraid that she would run with her mother to Shanghai one day if I did not apologize to her. I went back on my motorized bike after work one day and told my chairman about my worry and he said that she would not do that, because she loved me so much. He begged me and asked me not to apologize to her. I went on the brushless motor electric car and left there gloomily. I encountered my girlfriend on the way; I avoided her and detoured, for the sake of our chairman.

As a product that suits the current level of popular consumption in China, electric bikes are properly priced and common Chinese can afford to buy them. In any society, poor or relatively poor people constitute the majority of the population of a country, and China, as a developing country in the third world, is no exception. Secondly, e-bike is easier to ride, especially for women and old people, so they take the great fancy of common consumers. An experienced cyclist does not need assistance under normal conditions to reach a speed of 20-25 km/h. When facing headwind, moving uphill or carrying an extra passenger assistance will make a big difference. It ensures that the rider can maintain its regular cruising speed. Therefore, electric cycles, which run neither too fast nor too slowly, are a relatively safe means of transport. So they are particularly suitable for women and senior people.

Since electric bikes appeared on the market about 10 years ago in China, they have become a popular means of transport with the great masses of low-income residents in Chinese urban and rural areas. According to a report, the current number of e-bikes in use in China registers 30 million. Why are electric cycles so popular with so many common Chinese? Firstly, e-bikes are really a proper means of point-to-point transport. As a rule, there is some distance between our home and the nearest bus stop and between the nearest bus stop and our office building. If we commute daily by e-bike for a short distance, we can ride straight to our destinations from our homes without having to walk extra to and from the bus stop. In more Chinese cities such as Haikou, Hainan province and Changzhou, Jiangsu province, the status of e-bike in the spectrum of means of transport remains an uncertainty. Natives are having a heat discussion about the issue. Whether we accept the ebike or not seems to be a hard nut to crack in Chinese society. It is odd that such an environmentally friendly means of transport cannot win its due status in public transit in many parts of China. And I think the only way to change the subtle situation is to revolutionize our traditional idea about public transport and come up with the concept and practice of green transportation.

Currently, China's high-carbon "growth emissions" are a serious constraint on the nation's sustainable growth. For the past 20 years, China Cycle has insisted on promoting the ideas of a low-carbon lifestyle "Bicycle Culture", making efforts to change consumer culture and behavior in China. It has generated positive international recognition in global fashion circles for the industry. In addition, the Stroller exhibition has taken up to 5,000 square meters. So in recent years, electric powered cycles have come into frequent use. More and more people choose to ride electric bikes. They can not only protect the environment, but also save their time by doing so. And also, this brings the development of the industry of electric bike kits.

China e-bike 2011 was held from April 27-30 2011, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The event was organized by China Bicycle Association, jointly sponsored by Shanghai Xie Sheng Exhibition Co., Ltd and Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd. That year's exhibition area was more than 100,000 square meters, an increase of more than 10% from the previous exhibition. Exhibition area for overseas vendors has increased by 10%. The exhibition was divided into more than 10 specialized exhibition zones, including bicycle and spare parts, electric bicycle and spare parts, motorcycle and spare parts, stroller and spare parts, machinery and equipment, bicycle travel leisure products, etc. It had attracted exhibitors from 1132 well-known enterprises from over 14 countries and regions such as Italy, Holland, Switzerland, France, Germany, the United States of America, India, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The event was held with the purpose to use electric bikes to protect our environment. So we hope the event will be held every year.
